How can you participate in this amazing event and be part of the solution to pet overpopulation?

On Sunday February 21 in support of “Spay Day USA” (which occurs on the following Tuesday) the Whatcom Education, Spay & Neuter Impact Program (WeSNIP) presents the second annual To Neuter is Cuter event offering male cat neutering for only $5.00.

Last year the WeSNIP staff, with the support of local veterinarians and their teams plus a ton of volunteers, neutered 149 male cats during a 6-hour marathon making them eligible for the Guinness Book of World Records.  This year again the group focuses on one of the most problematic and yet easy to address problems -- cat overpopulation.  “Fixing” male cats is a simple and minimally-invasive procedure with a high return in the battle against unwanted and unhealthy pets.
